watercolors for the background (such as liquid Ecoline watercolors, but any other watercolors can be used - the PDF document includes the link for the video that shows background preparation with use of watercolor pencils)
brush for blending watercolors and cotton swabs or paper towels for drying out the water puddles (optional)
black pen (such as Micron PN, which I am using) for drawing line work,
watercolor pencils for shading and coloring (I used Albrecht Dürer by Faber-Castell),
white charcoal pencil for highlighting (I’m using the one by General Pencil),
white gel pen for highlighting (Gelly Roll by Sakura),
a graphite pencil and a gray marker or brush pen such as Koi Brush Pen (optional) to enhance shades.
Paper tile:
Triangular 3Z tile (you can easily use any paper tile if you adjust the pattern by adding more shapes to draw an 8-point instead of the 6-point ornament, like shown in a step-by-step instruction in the PDF document)
