Zentangle means so much to me. It was a catalyst for huge changes in my life. But when I write about Zentangle, I'm not only referring to the Zentangle® method. I'm actually also referring to all of you, the community, which is what makes Zentangle what it is. The world is changing and the community is getting ever bigger. But I feel hopeful that we will remain as creative, friendly and supportive as we always were.

I also hope that you will decide to take this free class and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. The logo on the back of the paper tile is the cornerstone of this artwork, the first line of the string, just as the Zentangle® method is the foundation for all we love and create. I look forward to seeing your drawings and arranging them into a mosaic made of pieces of all of you who feel that Zentangle is a key to your hearts.
