The Zentangle® Method

The Zentangle® Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. It was created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. "Zentangle" is a registered trademark of Zentangle, Inc. (zentangle.com).
The structured approach to the drawing process is a wonderful guidance which eases the decision-making, increases creativity and artistic skills.

My Zentangle Story

I started drawing when I had a very demanding and responsible job position and it helped me immensely to relieve the daily stress, clarify my thoughts and focus more easily. Drawing brought so much joy to my life, not only through the drawing process but also by joining an amazing, inspiring and supportive Zentangle community. It all positively influenced my overall well-being and was ultimately one of the catalysts in making the life-changing decisions.

Supplies

It takes only a few basic supplies to start drawing - a small paper tile, a graphite pencil, a black thin liner and a blending stump. Even if you don't have the original supplies at hand, don't let that stop you from drawing! You can find more info about my favorite supplies in my bog posts.

Learn to Tangle

It is recommended to learn the Zentangle Method by taking classes with Certified Zentangle Teachers. I've been a certified teacher since 2018 and I am grateful for being able to spread my love and passion for tangling with many students and followers. As I am based in Croatia I mostly teach online.
